Aluminum is the material most frequently used for thermoforming tools. Some of the benefits of aluminum are good heat conduction and high load capacity. Certain alloys meet the demand for high resistance. Thanks to modern, computer-aided milling techniques even smaller testing tools are frequently made of aluminum.
